New Trex® Deck and Screened Enclosure in Woodbine, MD

The vision

A homeowner in Woodbine, Maryland had been planning to replace her aging deck and shed for years. The existing structure had become unsafe due to rotting wood and problems with a previous water-carrying system, and the shed underneath the deck had become a home for unwanted pests, including snakes. After a neighbor referred her to Classic Remodeling, she came to the team with a clear plan and detailed drawings: a brand new deck, a screened-in room, and an outdoor space that felt both practical and beautiful.

The solution

Classic Remodeling rebuilt the space from the ground up, a complete deck replacement and a new screened-in room, and installed a Trex RainEscape water-management system to prevent future damage. The deck was built with Trex Transcend® decking in Lava Rock, and the porch roof was finished with CertainTeed Landmark Pro shingles in Moire Black.

For a crisp, polished finish, white Versatex vinyl boards capped the fascia, rake, beam, and perimeter inside and out. The screen-room ceiling used CertainTeed soffit, the shed was updated with CertainTeed board-and-batten siding, and the screening used durable fiberglass with the Screeneze system. Classic Remodeling also installed a ProVia kitchen door, Andersen French doors for the basement and dining room, a double window, and Superior 200 Series railings for safety and style.

The result

The full build was completed in about four weeks, matching the homeowner's plan down to the details. She was thrilled with the outcome, sharing that Classic Remodeling made her dreams come true, and referred her neighbors thanks to the workmanship and customer care.
